Adams Golf is launching its latest addition to its successful Idea franchise – Idea Tech V3 hybrids and hybrid irons. The company has been up with the golf industry pioneers in hybrid technology for many years.

Intended for would-be and recreational players looking to advance their game, the Idea Tech V3 set is presented in two configurations (forged or all-hybrid) in order to meet each customer’s preferences. Furthermore the Idea Tech V3 hybrids can also be bought singly.
The forged and all-hybrid configurations, the eight-piece Idea Tech V3 set consists of 4-, 5- and 6, progressively–sized hybrids and a 7-mid-hybrid. The forged set comprises of four oversized cavity-back forged irons in 8-iron through gap wedge while the all-hybrid set features four hybrid scoring clubs in 8-iron through gap wedge. Adams Golf says that the configurations feature strategically placed tungsten weighting in the premium stainless steel heads for superior forgiveness and spin. Adams says four-way cambered sole and recessed heel and toe areas reduce turf drag for greater playability and flexibility.
The easy-to-strike hybrids in both styles attribute purposely placed tungsten weighting in the premium stainless steel heads for advanced forgiveness and spin. The intermediary hybrid mid-iron includes a viscoelastic vibration dampening system for an unparalleled feel.
If the consumer decides to choose the forged set, they will find specifically located heel and toe weighting in the oversized forged heads of the short irons (8-GW) that take full benefit of scoring potential.
The stock shaft for the Idea Tech V3 hybrids is the Mitsubishi Rayon Bassara graphite shaft. Open in four different flexes and weights–stiff (65g), regular (60g), lite (55g) and super-lite (50g)–the Bassara shafts are proposed to accurately fit each player’s swing speed and technique. For the short irons in both the forged or all-hybrid set, clients can make a choice between True Temper Performance Tech shafts in steel or Mitsubishi Rayon Bassara shafts in graphite. They are also obtainable in left or right handed models.
Adams Golf also created the Idea Tech V3 hybrid iron set for women it says provides the same superior features and materials found in the men’s sets, but with dedicated tooling and design specifications created purposely for a woman’s swing. Like the men’s set, the eight-piece all Graphite all-hybrid set is individually designed yet flawlessly matched and includes three hybrids (4, 5, and 6), a mid-hybrid (7) and four hybrid short-irons (8-GW). Available along with the Mitsubishi Rayon Bassara graphite shafts in super-lite (50g) flex.
