Golf Driving Tips

Teeing off has to be the most important shot of the day, it dictates how easy it is for you in the approach shot or some cases hit the green or the hole. Many golfers find it difficult off the tee due to being inexperienced or fail to even bother fixing what is going wrong with their drives. The question that should be asked by these types of golfers is how can I fix this problem and driving the ball better? You my fellow golfer are about to find out. Here I am going to share with you some simple strategies to help improve your consistency in your driving.

The first thing you should look at is your stance. Stand at a comfortable distance away from the ball standing up right . You should have your feet spread about shoulder width apart, this will give you a solid foundation to leverage your body for your drive.

You may need to be a little more loose during your swing. Make sure to grip the club lightly. Believe it or not you are able to leverage your body to whip out your shot. Most golfers believe that tensing up the body will get you to hit the ball harder which is not entirely true. It is technique and timing and a bit of power that fuses together to create that power swing.

Thirdly be mindful that coming over the top during your downswing is virtually going to ruin your accuracy and distance. Using too much upper body instead of using of your powerhouse is the cause of this. To create immense power in your swing be aware that it is your core and your legs that drive the power for your swing.

Please practice the basic fundamentals of this read, go to a driving range and practice these tips until you are sure you are consistent.
